About The Lemonade Cleanse

The Lemonade Cleanse is an all natural cleansing and detoxification program that can help you lose 5, 10, or pounds in just 10 days. It was first introduced over 50 years ago and originally called the Master Cleanse Diet. It is still considered by many as the best cleanse for weight loss.

What follows are some guidelines for using the Lemonade Cleanse to safely and quickly lose weight permanently.

To get the most benefit from the Lemonade Cleanse, I suggest that you follow the program for 10 days and repeat it every for 3 days two months. This is program that you can use for the rest of your life for improved health and weight maintenance.

Lemonade Cleanse Recipe

  • 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons of grade B maple syrup
  • 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 10 oz of purified water

This recipe is for a single serving of the lemonade cleanse. You  should drink 6-12 servings a day. You can also make up a big batch by multiplying that recipe by however many servings you plan on drinking which is what I like to do. If you do, make sure you keep it refrigerated, and don’t make more then single day’s supply because you want the lemonade to be as fresh as possible when you drink it.

Some people don’t like the slight kick that the cayenne pepper gives to the lemonade cleanse. Here’s a tip: Take two cayenne pepper capsules with each glass of the lemonad cleanse instead of mixing the ground cayenne pepper into the drink. You can find cayenne pepper capsules at most health food and vitamin stores.

After The Lemonade Cleanse

To maintain your weight loss after finishing the lemonade cleanse, I suggest that you focus your diet on low glycemic index foods. This will maximize the benefits of the program.

The glycemic index measures how quickly the body converts the carbohydrates in the foods into glucose, or blood sugar. Foods that are low on the glycemic index create a slow, moderate rise in your blood sugar that is optimal for energy efficiency.

Following up the Lemonade Cleanse with a diet that is low on the glycemic index is a win-win situation that promotes rapid and permanent weight loss.

Get Active

Get active, start slowly and build up. Frequent physical activity will not only support your weight loss goals, it will increase your energy, enhance your mood, and reduces your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.

Try to participate in some level of physical activity every day, even if it’s walking a few times a day. Even a limited amount of physical activity will make a difference. It’s not necessary to work out for hours to gain health benefits and lose weight. Short bursts of activity throughout the day can be just as beneficial.
