Americans are becoming more aware of the relationship between permanent weight loss and eating sensibly, exercising moderately, drinking quantities of clean water and consuming quality supplements.
Yet, in the United States obesity has reached crisis proportions. In 1980, just 15 percent of adults were heavy enough to be defined as obese. By 2008, however, the rate had hit 34 percent. Two thirds of Americans are now either overweight or obese.
Stress and Permanent Weight Loss
One cause is stress, which has created a population of sugarholics. The average consumption of sugar per capita in the United States is 3.5 pounds a week for adults and slightly more for children. We are in a war, and the battle waged is against FAT!
